Peer Raiders Involved in Developing Excellence - PRIDE
The PRIDE Program is a great tool that emphasizes respect for self and others. PRIDE participants will help new students become acquainted to PCMS, assist counselors with alternative lunch activities, tutor students during team study, and assist in presenting classroom-counseling lessons. Students meet once per month after school to discuss the program under the guidance of school counselors. PRIDE Members are represented by students who show respect for self and others, interact appropriately with students and staff, and are dependable.
Parent Meetings
Parents are encouraged to contact the counselors with questions or concerns about their student(s) well-being.
Individual Counseling
Students meet with the counselor to discuss individual academic, social, or outside of school concerns.
Common Planning Time Meetings
Counselors meet weekly with each house to discuss student concerns, meet with parents, or to discuss school-related programs.
Student Assistance Team
Counselors meet bimonthly with administrators. When necessary these meetings will include the school nurse, school psychologist, and classroom teachers.
