School Resource Officers
The Pulaski Community school resource officers are police officers that were interested in making a difference in schools and were hired in our school district to work in collaboration to ensure the students safety. They work with students to teach students in the classroom about school safety and strategies to use in the home and in the community. These officers work in a proactive manner to build positive relationships with the students and their families. The PCSD community believes that if a student has a positive relationship with the officers that students will be willing to say something if they see something concerning. Our school resource officers are trained in ALICE and in the Crisis Prevention Institute's Non Violent Crisis Prevention.
