Hello! I'm Becky Schoen, the 6th–8th Grade Orton-Gillingham Reading Intervention Teacher. I am passionate about helping students strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and discover that they are capable readers. I believe every student can grow when provided with explicit, structured instruction and support tailored to their individual needs. Watching students gain independence and confidence in their reading journey is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Professional Interests
I am especially interested in evidence-based literacy instruction and helping students close reading gaps through structured, multisensory learning. I enjoy supporting students as they develop stronger decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills while building the confidence needed to succeed across all content areas.
