Pulaski Lacrosse is pleased to announce we’ve been awarded the opportunity to host a Pick up and Play lacrosse clinic sponsored by USA Lacrosse to introduce new players to the special sport of lacrosse during the National Celebrate Lacrosse Week (#USALacrosse, #CelebrateLacrosse, #NCLW23).
A key component of this clinic is to give youth players a chance to try the sport and connect with local lacrosse organizations that provide opportunities to further their exploration of lacrosse.
Another part of National Celebrate Lacrosse week initiative is to make the sport of lacrosse more welcoming, diverse and inclusive. We welcome all individuals from every walk of life to come and experience a sport that has so much opportunity for all youth.
This is a great opportunity for your son or daughter to check out the fastest growing sport in North America! Lacrosse is the fastest sport on two feet!
This event is open to all children, ages 6-14 and will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 1pm – 3pm in the Pulaski Community Middle School (PCMS) Gymnasium, 911 S St Augustine St, Pulaski, WI 54162. This two-hour clinic is designed for players with little to no experience and will utilize stations to learn various lacrosse skills. Participants should wear tennis shoes and athletic attire and bring along a water bottle.
The clinic will be free of charge and all equipment will be provided for participants to use for the event.
This clinic will be conducted by coaches and players from Pulaski Lacrosse and the Bay Valley Lacrosse Association (BVLA).
Participants should register through the USA Lacrosse – National Celebrate Lacrosse Week website link below:
Registration is open now until we reach the 70 participant limit, so please register early. Questions can be directed to Rich Thomson at PulaskiLacrosse@gmail.com.
