On Monday, June 7th, we are excited to celebrate our eighth grade students' time here at PCMS! The day was planned with input from our students and includes the following:
- PHS Transition Presentation- PHS counselors and PHS students will be meeting with each house of PCMS students in the auditorium for a Q & A, students will also receive information about all the ways to get involved at PHS, and view a welcome video and tour from PHS Student Council and Administration.
- Promotion Ceremony- Students will gather by their house in the auditorium for a short certification presentation. Please note that a livestream link will be sent out to families to view the presentation as, due to our mitigation practices, guests will not be allowed in-person. Pulaski News will also be taking photos of each student which will be available to students and families after the event. Students are welcome to dress up for the event and will have the opportunity to change for afternoon activities.
- Afternoon Activities- Following the presentation, students will have a picnic (weather permitting) with their classmates. The afternoon will be filled with student selected activities which include competitions, art activities, leisure games, and yearbook signing just to name a few.
We are thrilled to provide this special day for our students to celebrate their final days at PCMS!
Our eighth grade Acellus students will also celebrate their time at PCMS with a recorded presentation; Mrs. Schwittay is working with students and families virtually to make this a special memory as well.
