Digital Resources

A variety of digital resources are used both in the classroom within instruction and by students to show what they know.  We believe it is important for students to have choice and voice in the apps they use to learn and create. However, we also believe it is important that students be exposed to a variety of relevant and appropriate resources for learning and preparation of skills for their future.  While this list does include the resources used most often, it is difficult to capture all resources used in individual classrooms.

Canvas:  Learning Management Suite

Canvas was selected as the district Learning Management Suite to support the Digital Learning Plan for students in grades 6-12. Canvas is a website that connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use into one simple place online.  Teachers can post class announcements, resources for viewing in class or outside of class, assignments, etc.  They can also communicate through email and class discussions.  Students can upload assignments and get verbal, textual, and instant feedback from the teacher once it’s graded.

CanvasBecause Canvas is web-based, it is accessible anywhere, anytime on any device. You can access Pulaski Community School District’s Canvas at http://pulaskischools.instructure.com or by downloading the app on any IOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
