Pulaski Board of Education Meeting Information
All meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Barb McKeefry Room located at the District Office unless otherwise stated.
Regular Meetings vs Workshop Meetings
At the monthly Business Meeting, the Board will conduct district business that is placed on the meeting agenda. The Board may discuss and act on any agenda item. The Board will not necessarily vote on each item on the agenda, as action may not be needed or additional consideration and deliberation may be necessary before action can be taken.
The Board may also utilize Workshop Meetings for the purpose of gathering information, having broad-based discussion with input from district employees, and moving items that are ready for action to a Business Meeting. However, items that are necessary for business or an emergency may be acted upon by the Board at a Workshop Meeting.
Citizens' Forum Information
Any and all opportunities for public comment within a board meeting are provided by and subject to Board Policy 0167.3, Public Comment at Board meetings. In accordance with the intent of Wisconsin’s Open Meetings Law, the Board will not discuss or take action on matters during this Citizens’ Forum period. The meeting Chair is responsible for maintaining order at the meeting and ensuring the Board is able to conduct its official business for the District. Therefore, the Chair may provide a variety of instructions regarding the conduct of the meeting, and everyone is expected to abide by those instructions. This includes but is not limited to enforcing the four (4) minute time limit on comments per speaker, limiting the number of total speakers, or other actions. Closed Captioning of Recorded Board Meetings
The Pulaski Community School District uses the auto-captioning service through YouTube to provide closed captioning for live streaming of school board meetings. This service is available through YouTube free of charge. As such, if you encounter errors or missing captions, please contact the Technology Department at (920) 822-6070 and staff will resolve the problem.
