NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS TO FILL A BOARD VACANCY IN ZONE 2 (TOWNSHIPS OF CHASE, LITTLE SUAMICO, MORGAN)

The Pulaski Community School District (PCSD) Board of Education announced that applications are being accepted to fill a vacancy in Zone 2, which covers the Townships of Chase, Little Suamico, Morgan.

Any citizen of voting age residing within the geographic area of the vacancy is encouraged to apply.  Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026.  You may apply using our electronic application or paper application.  Paper applications should be remitted to dmthibodeau@pulaskischools.org or

The vacancy occurred due to the resignation of board member Dennis Kaminski.

The vacancy will be filled in accordance with state law and PCSD policies and procedures. The board intends to review applications and interview candidates at the Workshop Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and may make an appointment at that time. The seat will be up for election on the April 2027 ballot for a three-year term.

2026 ELECTION INFORMATION

Important Dates 2026 Election:
December 1, 2025 -  Date most candidates begin to file Candidacy papers
December 26, 2025, 5 p.m. – Deadline for incumbents to file notification of Non Candidacy
January 6, 2026, 5 p.m. – Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Finance Registration forms
February 17, 2026 – Spring Primary (if needed)
April 7, 2026 – Spring Election
April 27, 2026 - Elected persons take office

PLEASE NOTE: Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. although the office will be open until the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, for acceptance of candidacy documents.  Please keep in mind that the District office will be closed December 24, 2025, through January 2, 2026, for Winter Break.

 

NOTICE (2026 Election)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election is to be held in the Pulaski Community School District on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for a school board member is three years (unless otherwise noted) beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk located at 143 W. Green Bay Street, P. O. Box 36, Pulaski, WI. Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday forms may be filed personally with the school district clerk or district deputy clerk of elections or mailed to the address noted above.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if an incumbent does not file a Notification on Non-candidacy by 5 p.m., on December 26, 2025, and does not seek re-election, the deadline for filing nomination papers, Declaration of Candidacy, and Campaign Registration Statement will be extended an additional 72 hours.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
