Melissa Gloudemans

5th Grade Teacher

Hello! I am Melissa Gloudemans and I teach 5th grade at Glenbrook Elementary. This will be my 3rd year in the 5th grade classroom, after previously teaching Spanish for seven years at Glenbrook. It has been so much fun getting to have some of my Spanish students in my class now as 5th graders!

A little bit about me...

My husband, Ryan, and I just had a baby girl in August! She is such a joy to have in our lives. We also have a talking parakeet named Beau, of course being named after Lambeau field as we are very big Packers fans! I enjoy spending time outside, running, having campfires, going on walks, traveling, and going out for coffee.

I believe in creating a positive, respectful environment in our classroom so all students feel a sense of belonging. We love to incorporate movement in our room and we have fun classroom transformations to engage the kiddos in many different topics! My goal is to help every student feel successful in their learning, help them discover new interests, challenge themselves, and overall feel confident and happy at school.

I look forward to working with you and your child to have an awesome 5th grade year!
