The PCSD is grateful for the outpouring of support that has come forth from numerous agencies, community members, and other school districts. Immediately after our school district was made aware of the bonfire incident that occurred in our community, we began working to provide support for the students, families, and staff affected by this tragic event.
Anyone in need of immediate assistance may call the Brown County Crisis Line at 920-436-8888; Shawano County Crisis Line at 715-526-3240; Oconto County Crisis Line at 920-496-7000; or the Outagamie County Crisis Center at 920-832-4646 to speak with mental health/grief counselors. Current PCSD students will continue to have access to our student services staff (counselors, school psychologist, and social worker) on a daily basis as needed.
- Shawano County Residents: Crisis Walk-In appointments are available Mondays through Fridays 8:00 AM-4:30 PM at W7327 Anderson Ave., Shawano, WI 54166
- Brown County Residents: Crisis Walk-In appointments are available 24 hours a day at 3150 Gershwin Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311

As law enforcement conducts its investigative efforts, we will continue to respond to the needs of our students and staff while also staying focused on student learning.
The District encourages any person with information regarding the incident to contact the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department or the Pulaski Police Department. This is a law enforcement investigation and while the District will cooperate and encourage anyone with information to cooperate, our responsibility is to focus on maintaining the educational environment of our schools. Please direct all information to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
