2022-23 Welcome Back Letter

A few quick reminders:

  • Students are asked to bring last year's ID with them to school until their new ID is received from Countryside.
  • Picture make-up day is Sept 2.  Students should report to the PHS auditorium any time between 7:00 a.m. and the end of the school day to have a photo taken (before school, during Homeroom or during a PLT).  ALL students (including e-Kiel online learners) grades 9-12 must have a photo taken for our Skyward student database, a current-year ID, and the 22-23 yearbook.

2022-23 Welcome Back Letter

August 19, 2022

Dear Parents and Incoming PHS Students:

We hope this communication finds you with a degree of excitement in your house for school to start on September 1st. Just a few pieces of information as the first day of school approaches.

Please remind your student to go to his/her homeroom at 7:30 AM on Thursday, September 1st to begin the day.  The PHS staff will begin your child’s transition into the year with a 2-hour homeroom session. Rules, camaraderie, curricular expectations, club meeting schedules, and a host of other items will be discussed during this 2-hour session. Your child’s homeroom assignment can be viewed on Skyward. Directions for finding your student schedule on Skyward are located on this LINK  (Skyward Mobile Directions LINK). The homeroom assignment and room number are listed under MOD 15 on the schedule.  If your student doesn’t yet have their schedule, they can certainly get a copy at the PHS building upon their arrival.  Students brand new to the district should report to the Student Services office to be paired with a mentor.  For additional news, please visit the PHS website and sign up to receive our announcements.
