PHS will do something slightly different this year for overlap resolution (situations in which you may have two classes scheduled that overlap). Each semester we have an overlap resolution date where students and teachers resolve overlaps or conflicts in student’s schedules. Not all students have overlaps, so this message really applies to students who need to communicate with their teachers regarding the development of a plan (collaboratively created) to manage through the overlap. Plans certainly vary by student and by individual situation.
Students will report to their homeroom on these dates for a quick informational video and then will be turned loose to work with PHS staff to resolve overlaps. It is imperative that students continue to attend the first part of their homeroom to get important information related to the second semester.
Students can review their current 2nd semester schedules via Skyward with the attached directions.
PHS staff and administration has set aside 6 dates inside our homeroom and office hour schedules (dates listed below) for students to virtually connect with their teachers where they currently have courses that overlap.
