Parent Directions - Completing the Covid Grading Options Form

Recently we shared with you revisions that have been made at the high school level regarding grading during virtual learning as a result of the COVID-19 closures.  The district will still transition to a Pass and No Pass grading system with a notation of *COVID-19 Disruption noted on report cards and transcripts for Semester 2; however, students will also be provided with the option to choose letter grades (A, B, C, D, or F) to be reflected on the report card and transcripts for all of their second-semester courses instead of pass/no pass.

The Covid Online Grading Options Form is now available in Skyward Family Access.  

To opt out of the pass/no pass system and receive letter grades (A, B, C, D, F), an online form was created in Skyward Family Access.  It is called Covid Grading Options Form.  Parents must complete and submit that form if you and your child choose to receive letter grades.  Please note, if the choice is made to receive letter grades, your child will receive a letter grade in all Sm 2 courses.  This form must be submitted individually for each of your children.  The deadline to submit the Covid Grading Options Form is 3 pm on Friday, May 15.  Directions to complete this online form is attached.  If you would like to stay with the pass/no pass grading system, you don't need to do anything.  The form is to opt out of this grading system and to receive letter grades.
