As you may already know, parent/teacher conferences for high school students will be on Thursday, November 1 from 3:30-7:15 pm. As our first quarter grading period officially ends Tuesday, November 6, this would be a perfect time to discuss your student's academic progress.
To access your student's grades in real-time, please use your Canvas Parent Access account. If you have not yet set-up your Canvas Parent Access account, click HERE for directions and videos on how to complete this process.
Conferences will be held in the PHS Fred Kestly Fieldhouse (gymnasium). This will allow you to find our teachers easily and cut down on travel time between conferences. As in the past, all conferences will be pre-scheduled through Skyward Family Access. This will allow you to set up meetings directly with your student's Teacher of Record (ToR). Conferences may be scheduled beginning Thursday, October 25 through Thursday, November 1 in Skyward Family Access (directions attached). Please keep in mind that conference appointment time slots fill fast, so don't delay.
If your student has a case manager, please contact the case manager by phone or email directly to set up an appointment. Counselors and administrators will also be available, and your student may join you for conferences if you wish.
A representative from Herff Jones will also be available to answer questions or take orders for class rings. This is usually reserved for our seniors, who received information during a class meeting on Thursday, October 25, but anyone can order if interested.
