About Our Community
The Pulaski Community School District is located in the heart of Wisconsin and is one of the largest school districts by area in the state, as it encompasses 176 square miles in total. The school district serves nearly 3,700 students, and approximately 20,000 families and individuals live in townships and villages that are within the Pulaski Community School District including Angelica, Chase, Flintville, Green Valley, Hobart, Krakow, Laney, Lessor, Little Suamico, Maple Grove, Morgan, Oneida, Pittsfield, Pulaski, Sobieski, and parts of Suamico.
Recreation
Our safe communities offer places for children and families to ride their bikes, take walks, go ice skating, and enjoy all of the perks of the four seasons Wisconsin brings. The people within our communities are welcoming, making it the utopia of small-town living with big city advantages just minutes away. The Mountain Bay Trail, which stretches over 83 miles from northeastern Wisconsin to Rib Mountain in Marathon County, includes many access points connecting communities within the district and also connects us to the Green Bay area. Parks and Playgrounds
Within our communities, we have beautiful playgrounds for youngsters and parks with open green spaces for picnics and serene enjoyment. From Veteran’s Memorial Park in Pulaski to Four Seasons Park in Hobart to the Stone Barn Park in Chase, there are multiple baseball, softball, and soccer fields for organized and recreational use. Every Sunday evening in the summer, Veterans Memorial Park in Pulaski hosts a Concert in the Park where community members can enjoy local talent and the company of fellow Pulaski Community School District residents.
Community Involvement
The Pulaski Area Chamber of Commerce, the Tri-County Optimists, the variety of faith communities, the Lion's Club, and the Veterans' organizations are available for anyone seeking out community involvement. The village of Pulaski, where Pulaski High School and the Pulaski Community Middle School are located, is only minutes from major transportation routes and Green Bay. Pulaski offers spectacular views, accessibility, a small-town atmosphere, and was recently named a winner of one of the 100 best communities for young people.
Events
Municipalities within the Pulaski Community School District hold events within their communities creating a friendly environment for all. Events such as Pulaski Polka Days, which has been in place since 1978, bring in tens of thousands of people into our community each July. People from Wisconsin, the United States, and overseas attend this event each year as it hosts the top polka bands from across the nation. There are many local bands that have made names for themselves, as well. At the event, people young and old can enjoy the happy polka beat, authentic Polish food, arts and crafts, a parade, and worship services to the polka rhythm.
