Eligibility/Requirements:

  • The 2025 graduating high school senior must be enrolled for the upcoming school year in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university, or planning to attend a vocational or technical school.
  • The student’s parent, or legal guardian, must be an active member of Country Visions Cooperative or CP Feeds, LLC and should have spent a minimum of $2,000 on goods and services from Country Visions or CP Feeds in the year preceding the application. Up to three scholarships may be designated as Employee Scholarships. Student employees, or children of employees, can apply for this scholarship without fulfilling the purchase requirement, but they still need to meet the other eligibility criteria. They must be employed by Country Visions Cooperative or CP Feeds at the time of application. A student may be eligible for both the employee scholarship and the active member scholarship, but only one scholarship will be granted per student.
  • Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale during their previous educational years.
  • Complete the application form and return to Country Visions Cooperative along with all requested documents.
  • Attach a transcript from your high school through your most recently completed semester.
  • Include two letters of recommendation. (At least one should be from an employer, community leader, teacher or principal)
  • If chosen as a scholarship winner, the student will need to complete one (1) semester of college or technical school to receive the funds. After successful completion of a semester of college, students must submit a copy of their grade report and proof of enrollment for second semester.

Letters of recommendations: Obtain TWO letters of recommendation supporting your scholarship application.

Eligibility/Requirements:

Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field – which does not include law school – is eligible.

  • You may complete the application online or may send paper copies. 
  • Enclose a typewritten essay (on 8½ x 11 paper) of 200 words or less outlining why you have chosen a law enforcement career. Include any special projects relating to your interest in law enforcement and any other factors you wish the committee to consider.
  • Type in the top right corner of each page of the essay your full name and complete address.
  • Sign and date the essay.
  • Enclose three (3) letters of recommendation from three different sources (i.e., not more than one letter from any one source).   • Scholarships will be granted to applicants who will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison campus as an undergraduate freshman starting with the fall semester for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • The Scholarship is for the second semester of your first year.
  • The applicant must also be a Brown County resident, a spring 2024 graduate of a Brown County high school, and should be in the top 15% of his or her graduating class.
  • Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 30, 2025.
  • There is no single criterion used in selecting scholarship recipients.
  • The selection committee reviews the applicant’s academic achievement, test scores, extra-curricular activities, financial need, student statement, and counselor comments in its selection process.
  • For one scholarship financial need is more heavily weighted.
