Requirements

  1. Applicant must be a dependent of a Knights of Columbus Council #4439 member in good standing.
  2. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  3. At the discretion of the Knights of Columbus Council #4439 Scholarship Committee, the Scholarship may be split among equally qualified candidates.
  4. Selections based on the following criteria:
    1. Co-curricular activities in school
    2. Church involvement
    3. Community activities (not including employment)
    4. Academic excellence

Awards

One $1,000 scholarship (see #3 above).

Scholarship monies will be sent to the approprated post-secondaryeducational institutions after the first semester of enrollment provided the recipients have achieved at least a 2.50 gpa as verified by the submission of a copy of the semester grades.

At the discretion of the scholarship committee the scholarship awards may be granted to the second place finisher if the scholarship recipients fail to meet the criteria above.
