Requirements
Scholarships will be granted to applicants who will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison campus as an undergraduate freshman starting with the fall semester for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Scholarship is for the second semester of your first year. The applicant must also be a Brown County resident, a spring 2024 graduate of a Brown County high school, and should be in the top 15% of his or her graduating class. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 30, 2024.
There is no single criterion used in selecting scholarship recipients. The selection committee reviews the applicant’s academic achievement, test scores, extra-curricular activities, financial need, student statement, and counselor comments in its selection process. For one scholarship financial need is more heavily weighted.
