The Wisconsin School Counselor Association Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes counselors with more than 15 years of dedication and excellence in school counseling. Candice Bogacz was recognized at the November 2025 WSCA’s Annual Conference.

Mrs. Bogacz has served at Glenbrook Elementary for 19 years and in the educational field for 22 years.
School counselor and former intern at Glenbrook, Alisa Lewis, nominated Mrs. Bogacz, writing, “She is an exceptional counselor with an empathetic mindset and caring demeanor. She ensures that each student feels supported and appreciated in their daily lives.”

“At Glenbrook Elementary, one of Candice’s standout initiatives is her lunch group program. These lunch groups are highly popular among students, not only because they offer a break during the day, but also because they create a welcoming space for peer connection and authentic dialogue. Candice carefully designs these sessions to foster mutual respect and social skills, ensuring that every student feels included and heard.”
