JoLynn Schmidt joined Pulaski Community School District on July 1 as the new assistant director of teaching and learning. JoLynn is stepping into this role as Lindsey Mathys transitions to serve as the lead principal at Pulaski High School.
Mrs. Schmidt brings with her a wealth of experience in educational leadership, last serving in the Mosinee School District as an elementary principal and the co-director of instructional programs. Her career also includes time in the Tomah Area School District as a principal and classroom teacher at both elementary and middle school levels.
In her new role, she will support K-12 curriculum, instruction and assessment. She will focus specifically on 6–12 English language arts and mathematics and K–12 science. She will also lead our Educator Effectiveness efforts and provide ongoing support for Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Response to Intervention (RtI), Multi-Level Systems of Support (MLSS) and other key district initiatives.
