Shaw to be inducted in state hall of fame

Former Pulaski High School boys basketball coach Dave Shaw will be inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame later this year.

Congratulations to former Pulaski High School boys varsity coach Dave Shaw, who will be inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025 at the group's Hall of Fame banquet Sept. 28 at Glacier Canyon Lodge of the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Shaw compiled a 203-134 record at Pulaski during his tenure. That included winning the 2013 WIAA Division II championship.

Shaw’s father, Brian, coached the Manitowoc High School boys varsity squad from 1971 to 1990 and was a 1994 inductee into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. His younger brother, Jesse, coaches at Sheboygan South High School.

Shaw began his coaching career at Kewaskum High School and proceeded to coach at Winneconne and Whitefish Bay, before accepting the position at Pulaski High School in 2009. Shaw stepped back from coaching in 2023, but has continued as a physical education teacher at PHS.
