Pulaski Community Middle School agriculture teacher Kaleb Santy received a 2024 Greater Green Bay Chamber Golden Apple Award Feb. 15 during a surprise ceremony attended by his family and district and PCMS leaders.
He was presented the award from Michelle Hansen, president of the George Kress Foundation, Inc., at Green Bay Packaging.
This is Santy’s second year at PCMS following his 2014-2022 tenure at Pulaski High School. He is also a 2006 PHS graduate.
The Golden Apple ceremony is April 17 at the Oneida Hotel (formerly Radisson Hotel and Conference Center). The Greater Green Bay Chamber has honored area teachers with the coveted Golden Apple award since 1994.
Since its inception, 55 PCSD teachers have been awarded Golden Apple awards including two current teachers who won while at different districts and one who won as an individual and as a team member.
Santy and Hillcrest teacher Jamie Somerville were named Teachers of Distinction in January.
