All Student Announcements:
Good morning, PCMS! This coming Monday is Memorial Day, and while it means a long weekend and the unofficial start of summer, it holds a much deeper meaning. Memorial Day is a special time dedicated to honoring and remembering the brave men and women in the military who gave their lives to protect our country and our freedom. As you enjoy the extra day off with family and friends, take just a moment to reflect on their sacrifice and gratitude. Let’s carry that spirit of respect with us today and into the weekend. See you back to school on Tuesday.
A quick reminder that all BAND students are invited to join Mr. Couch in observing the National Moment of Remembrance and performing Taps on Memorial Day. The band room will be open at 2:30 p.m. and the event begins at 3:00 p.m. at the flag pole, regardless of weather. Dress nicely and respectfully for the occasion.
Today is the last PCMS Book Club Meeting of the school year! We will be discussing our May book choice, Eregon (Eh-rah-gaan) and celebrating a great year of reading during this GO Time Meeting. Fun Fact, the PCMS Book Club has read 11 novels this year! Contact Mrs. Jacobson to sign up or with any questions!
Today is a very special day. It’s the annual Senior Back to Their Roots walk! Around 9:10 a.m., the graduating high school seniors will be walking our halls one last time to say goodbye before they graduate. Let’s make some noise and give them a great send-off! Students listen closely for a PA announcement telling us when they are on their way over. Let’s congratulate the Class of 2026!
Route: Teachers, please note the seniors will be entering the pool doors thru the commons, up the steps to Mr. Kehoe's room, down the 8th grade hallway, down the steps by Mrs. Kohls’ room, to Mrs. Challe/Mrs. Kehoe corner, through the 7th grade hallway, turn left down the HUB hallway, turn right down 6th grade/art hallway and exit door 2.
