Get Ready for National FFA Week!
This week, we’re celebrating all things FFA! Here is what you need to know:
The Big Celebration: Join Mr. Santy during Wednesday’s Flex/Go Time for our FFA Week Celebration. We’ll have snacks, prizes, and plenty of fun—make sure to sign up now!
The Look: Show your spirit with our daily dress-up themes:
- Monday: Blue & Corn Gold Day! Wear your colors and look sharp—the FFA Yearbook photo will be taken during homeroom. Please report to your Homeroom for attendance first, then after your teacher dismisses you please meet outside the main office by the red wall. You will return to your Go Time immediately after the photo.
- Tuesday: Future Career Day. From the farm to the boardroom, dress for the success you want!
- Wednesday: Made in America. Rep your favorite American-made brands.
- Thursday: Red, White, & Blue. Help us celebrate FFA’s 98th year and the USA’s 250th! (Hats are allowed but must be school-appropriate).
It’s time to make a difference! Today is Day One of the Team Teddy Pop-Tab Drive. We’re collecting tabs through March 6 to support a fantastic cause. To make things interesting, the top-collecting homeroom will be rewarded with a Pizza Party! Grab those tabs, help Team Teddy, and let’s win this together.
Attention all Student Council and Live Announcement Crew students interested in attending the Milwaukee Bucks game and Spirit of Excellence award presentation! Please stop at Mrs. Jacobson's room TODAY to pick up an information sheet. Details regarding date, time, price, bussing and parent/guardian tickets are included. We need to have it back by Wednesday so that we can order the bus and tickets. Stop by with questions!
Track & Tennis season is just around the corner - if you haven’t signed up yet please do so soon! Parent sign-up is in Family Skyward Access. Stop in the main office with any questions.
Are you interested in being on the Bowling team? Practices will again be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the first optional practice being this Thursday, February 26, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m., at Village Lanes, Howard. Required practices will be Tuesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 5. Grab a sign-up sheet in the main office.
