Now that February is here, we are excited to celebrate Black History Month.
You might ask, 'What is Black History Month all about?' It is a designated time to honor the triumphs, struggles, and contributions of African Americans throughout United States history. It is a time for us to celebrate the scientists, artists, activists, and everyday people who have shaped our culture and our country. But remember: while we highlight these stories in February, Black history is American history, and it's something we should recognize and celebrate all year long.
The Annual Valentine’s Sucker Sale kicks off this week! Bring your dollars to lunch starting today, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Suckers are 2 for $1, and delivery will be on Friday. Please remember: You cannot send a sucker without a Homeroom. Check your friends' schedules so you’ll be ready to buy.
