- Art Club will be next Tuesday, January 14! Please let the Art Teachers know if you are unable to make it, see you Tuesday, January 14 for ART CLUB, at 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
- Please start collecting and saving Pop Tabs for the upcoming Team Teddy Pop Tab Drive. During the week of January 13-17 Team Teddy will start the Pop Tab Collection Drive. Remember Pop Tabs are the little aluminum tab you pop to open a soda type can. These tabs will be later donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities located in Milwaukee. Go through your cans at home, start a collection bag at your house or ask family, friends or neighbor friends to start collecting as well! Winning homeroom will win a Pizza Party & if school wide participation is high we will throw in a prize for 2nd place as well.
- FFA:
- The January FFA Meeting is TODAY during Go Time. Be sure to sign up and attend if you want to keep up to date on what is happening in FFA.
- Weekly FFA CDE and LDE practices are as follows:
- Ag Mechanics - Monday after school
- Quiz Bowl - Tuesday after school and Thursday during Go Time
- Veterinary Science - Thursday after school
- Livestock Evaluation - Friday during Go Time.
- Looking for space to grow your animal or plant science fair project? Contact Mr. Santy and sign up for a Go Time to see if you can use the greenhouse or animal lab.
- Our next Friday Fun Night will take place this Friday, January 10 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. This lock-in style event will include a variety of activities to celebrate our students’ success, such as dodgeball, bingo, video games, movies, dance, basketball, volleyball and much more.
- Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 6:45 p.m.
- Late arrivals or early pickups must have a note signed by a principal by the end of the school day on Friday, January 10.
- Student I.D. or $5.00 required for entry
- Concessions will be sold
- 6th Grade enter at Door 1
- 7th Grade at Door 2
- 8th Grade at Pool Doors
- Unfortunately, the pool will NOT be available for swimming.
- Student dismissal from the event will be at 9:00 p.m. We recommend students coordinate a pick up spot ahead-of-time with your parent/guardian.
- Attention Student Council Members: If you are interested in writing and publishing articles for the WASC Spirit of Excellence Award, please plan on attending Student Council meetings every Wednesday this month from 3-4:15 p.m. in Mrs. Morgan's Room 1096. We will be giving assignments on what to do so that we can get the article turned in by February 1st. Not sure if the Spirit of Excellence is for you? We can help you get started! Can't make it but want to be a part of the process? Stop by Mrs. Morgan's or Mrs. Kodanko's room after next Wednesday and we can give you an article to work on! See you then!
- Student Council Members: We need you to sign up and work at Friday Fun Night, which will be held on January 10. We will need some set up workers, concession stand shifts, SunDrop Slushie workers and a clean up crew. See sign ups by Mrs. Kodanko's room!
