All Student Announcements:
Happy Sign Language Awareness Month. Did you know Alaqua Cox from Keshena, WI who is a Menominee/Mohican Deaf amputee got her start in acting in Marvel's Hawkeye as Maya? Later, Disney+ signed Alaqua on to star in her spin-off, Echo. Alaqua is a great role model for the Deaf, indigenous, and disabled communities. We chose to share about Alaqua today to highlight the Deaf and native populations that we honor today. You may notice many are wearing orange to honor and remember residential school survivors and their families in our native community.
Students and parents interested in helping with the PCMS FFA Haunted Trail should sign up as a volunteer today. QR codes for sign up are on the monitors and around school or stop in the main office for a flier. The haunted Trail will be open Friday, October 18, 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
Our first Friday Fun Night will take place on Friday, October 4 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. This lock-in style event will include a variety of activities to celebrate our students’ success, such as dodgeball, bingo, video games, movies, dance, basketball, volleyball and much more.
- Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 6:45 p.m.
- Late arrivals or early pickups must have a note signed by a principal by the end of the school day on Friday, October 4.
- Student I.D. or $5.00 required for entry
- Concessions will be sold
- IF planning to swim, students must bring a swimsuit and towel
- Phy Ed locker rooms will be locked; Swim locker room will be available
- 6th Grade enter at Door 1
- 7th Grade at Door 2
- 8th Grade at Pool Doors
- Student dismissal from the event will be at 9:00 p.m. We recommend students coordinate a pick up spot ahead-of-time with your parent/guardian.
