Boys baseball: Doubleheader vs. Wausau East (Saturday, May 1 at Wausau East)
Game 1: Pulaski 17 Wausau East 0 - Freshman Donatello Badalamenti went 4 innings for the win allowing 2 hits and striking out 3. The offense was led by Brinton Anderson and Easton Vertz who each had 3 hits including 2 extra base hits apiece while scoring 3 runs each as well. Jonah Klingeisen and Jarret Olson also collected 2 hits. As a team Pulaski had 16 hits.
Game 2: Pulaski 19 Wausau East 5 - Senior Kendall Kaczrowski went 3 innings to pick up the win. Brinton Anderson again led Pulaski with 3 hits. Jarret Olson, Easton Vertz, Alex Brodhagen and Logan Kochevar each had 2 hits as well to pace the Red Raider attack which pounded out 15 hits in game 2.
Girls softball results: The Ladies Raiders placed 2nd at the Pulaski Invite. Pulaski beat Neenah 12-2 in 5 innings. Gabby Decleene pitched the win, striking out 5 batters. Multiple hits by Brynn Egnarski, Ashlyn Szymanski, Gabrielle DeCleene, Olivia Kubiak and Annie Heck. Egnarski and Kubiak both hit homers. In the second game, Pulaski beat Menasha 9-5 in 5 innings. Morgan Vertz pitched the win, striking out 5 batters. Multiple hits by Ashlyn Szymanski, Peighton Agamaite, Gabrielle DeCleene, Skylar Lukasik and Nya Matuszak. Ashlyn had 2 doubles and DeCleene hit another bomb. The Lady Raiders lost 8-2 to Oak Creek in the championship game. Brynn hit a triple in the first inning and Ashlyn hit a homer in the third inning.
