Congratulations to the Pulaski FFA members who competed in the FFA District LDE. The Pulaski FFA is advancing members in each of the following contests to Sectionals: Creed Speaking: Laura Sprangers, Taylor Maroszek, Maria McFadden. Extemporaneous Public Speaking: Ryleigh Guelig. Discussion Meet: Kaylee Ferfecki. Employability Skills: Collin Klipstine. Parliamentary Procedure Law: Kali Mikulsky, Kaelyn Sumner, Lydia Rasmussen, Claire Betley, Kaylee Ferfecki, and Elena Jarvey.
Pulaski swept Bay Port in conference play with scores of 25-16, 25-12, and 25-19. Stat leaders for Pulaski- Assists: Emily Bruss- 28. Digs: Ashton Birr- 11 Alexia Thibodeau- 9 Cailey Eastman- 6. Kills: Jocelin Feutz- 10 JoLee Klingeisen- 10 Lexi Schuurmans- 6. Aces: Ashton Birr- 5 Emily Bruss- 2 JoLee Klingeisen- 2.
Girls Swim finished 9th out of 10 teams at sectionals, but had season best times or scores in 20 out of 21 events. Finishing in the top 8(what would have been podium finishes if there was one) were: Taya Schmidt-6th in diving and the 50 free. Laura Sprangers-6th in the 500 free. 200 free relay of Taya Schmidt, Abi Roberts, Gracie Mihalski, Laura Sprangers. Also scoring team points (finishing in top 16) were: Grace Duffrin-200 IM(13th) and 100 fly(12th), Angelina Fulgione-200 free(14th) and 100 breaststroke(13th) Meghan Molthen-200 free(9th) and 500 free(10th), Avah Ostrenga-100 fly and 100 back(16th in both), Abi Roberts-200 free(13th) ,Laura Sprangers-200 free(10th) , Madison Wall-500 free(13th) , Neve Andre and Myla Baenen also made it to sectionals.
