My name is Tasha Christensen and I am a Third Grade teacher at Sunnyside Elementary School. I graduated from Pulaski in 2011. I then went on to further my education at St. Norbert College. I have been teaching in this district for three years and have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten and First Grade along with Third Grade. I enjoy being active and I do my best to bring that enthusiasm into the classroom everyday. Furthermore, my goal as a teacher is to build a strong relationship with every student to make them feel comfortable and confident in the classroom. I enjoy focusing on the strengths of the individual students to build a classroom community. As a community and team, we will work hard together to write, read, and problem solve to the best of our ability. High energy, positive relationships, creative thinking, and collaboration are some of the most important aspects of my teaching. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with children to guide them in finding their purpose and to see the growth of who they are workng to become.
