Kayla Vandenlangenberg

Hello, my name is Kayla Ellisor. I am one of the teachers in our EL program. I will be primarily working at the middle school and Hillcrest. I started teaching in 2014 and I have always had English language learners in my classroom. Having learned another language, I understand the struggles that students have in their language acquisition and it allows me to better help my students become successful in the classroom.

Experience:

I taught in Aldine ISD in Houston, TX from January 2014 until May of 2018. I taught bilingual math to 5th and 6th graders, ESL math to 5th and 6th graders as well as Spanish. I also taught gifted and talented students. I taught in Conroe ISD in Conroe, TX from August 2018-February 2022. I taught 7th and 8th grade ESL math. I began as a substitute teacher for Pulaski in March of 2022 and then taught summer school. I am looking forward to continuing my career in Pulaski.
