Requirements
All applicants must be graduating from a Wisconsin public or private high school in 2022 and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or vocational technical institute in 2022. Students compete by submitting an essay on the following topic:
- "If Wisconsin could design its local government funding system from scratch, what would be the best and most equitable way to fund town government systems?"
- Essay only! Typed, not hand-written, essay should be between 500 and 1000 words and double spaced.
- Essays must include a bibliographic listing sources used!
Awards
Seven $1,000 scholarships given based on essay ranking.

Completed Essay and Background information sheet should be emailed or postmarked no later than May 24, 2024 and mailed to:
