Nicole Borley, an 18-year Pulaski Community School District veteran,  is the district's new director of Student Services.

Borley, who has served as an assistant principal at Pulaski High School since 2012 and previously was a teacher, will succeed  Lisa Misco, who has accepted a job with CESA 8 at the end of the school year.  Borley started in Pulaski as a student teacher and taught special education for more than a decade before accepting other responsibilities within the district.

"I feel honored to have  the opportunity to become the director of Student Services and look forward to contributing to the great work of the Student Services staff. I am excited to help guide our students to become successful and grow as individuals," Borley said. "The pride and commitment of the Pulaski Community School District is something I value, and I am excited to help grow the tradition, pride and excellence."

Borley, a Green Bay native and Green Bay Preble graduate, earned bachelor's of science degrees in 1999 and 2000 from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc with certifications in emotional behavioral disability (pre-k to ninth grade); learning disabilities (pre-k to ninth grade)  and elementary education, grades one to six. "Nicole's experience in the Pulaski Community School District, having been a special education teacher, learning support teacher, assistant director of special education, associate principal, and assistant director of student services, has provided a great foundation that will make for a smooth transition into her new role as director of Student Services," Superintendent Bec Kurzynske said. "I welcome Nicole as a member of the central office team and look forward to continuing the great work within our Student Services department under her leadership."

Borley assumes her new duties July 1.
