Amy Albers

My name is Amy Albers and I have been teaching 8th Grade Communication Arts at Pulaski Community Middle School since 2011. I have a deep love for reading and writing, and I enjoy introducing the world of Language and Literature to my students. I also have a passion for Walt Disney World, singing and Broadway musicals, and as a result, I co-direct the PCMS Student Musical.

Experience
For six years before I became a teacher, I worked as a marketing and public relations coordinator for Golden House, Green Bay's program and shelter for victims of domestic violence. While at Golden House, I wore many hats and did everything from fundraising to helping children in shelter with their homework. Working with these children helped me to realize that my true wish was to teach youth on a daily basis, which is what inspired me to return to school and get my teaching certification.
