This year, our eighth grade students will have the opportunity to hear about numerous career choices from area professionals at a career fair to be held in Spring. Over fifteen local business representatives will be pleased to answer questions, share their educational background, and talk about their career experiences and goals. Students will be exposed to a variety of professions, including the following career clusters; agriculture/natural resources, architecture/construction, arts/AV technology, business, education/training, finance, government/public administration, health science, hospitality/tourism, human services, info/technology, law/public safety, manufacturing, marketing, science/technology, and transportation, many of the professions geared to the use of technology in the 21st Century. This exposure will especially help the eighth grade students as they begin the course selection process for high school.
The Pulaski Community Middle School staff and students are very grateful to the community representatives who will be so kind to donate their time and talents. As soon as the volunteer list is complete, we will share their names. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Nikki Gerth and Mrs. Carrie Wagner, School Counselors, in their preparation for the career fair.
