Prevea Sports Medicine is passionate about helping student-athletes at Pulaski High School win with their sports medicine expertise on the sidelines and beyond. Their highly specialized experts deliver a comprehensive, research-based approach with a personal understanding of student-athletes. They provide care for every type of need an athlete may face, from injury prevention and performance enhancement to injections, therapy and surgery.

Expertise provided for all student-athletes:

  • Injury evaluation and treatment
  • Concussion management
  • Physical therapy
  • Movement analysis
  • On-site training sessions during season and off-season for performance enhancement and injury prevention

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD IS INJURED

If your child has suffered a potentially serious sports injury, contact 911 immediately. For less serious concerns, consult the event’s medical staff when available or call Prevea Sports Medicine at (920) 272-3380. For more detailed information, click here.

PREVEA LICENSED ATHLETIC TRAINER

Melissa Gering is Prevea Sports Medicine athletic trainer dedicated to Pulaski High School. As specialty-trained and experienced professionals, they specialize in preventing, recognizing, managing and rehabilitating sports injuries for athletes and helping athletes improve their performance and skill. They evaluate injuries and determine whether to refer athletes to a physician or follow standard orders and manage minor injuries. They have ongoing communications between the injured athlete, physician, coach and family regarding when and how the athlete can return to practice and competition. If services are needed off-site, student-athletes will likely be referred to the Prevea Pulaski or Ashwaubenon health centers.
